This is pure Action with a strong Shooter focus, but it rewards patience more than panic. The Sniper angle matters. Miss too often and things spiral fast.
Between fights, you manage survivors. Each one brings different skills, and that choice affects survival more than your weapon. Sending a strong fighter on supply runs noticeably improves the group’s odds. That layer adds tension you do not get in simple Zombie shooters.
